Positions available:

Sales Manager
This position is responsible for contributing to the effective operations of the sales department. Uses sales skills to drive revenue, maximize profit and ensure quality

  • Sales: Aggressively pursues business revenue goals by soliciting new and existing accounts while developing and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Guest Service: Responsible for client satisfaction by ensuring the clients' needs and concerns are responded to in a courteous and timely manner. Ensures effective communication of client needs from sales to appropriate operational departments. Provides follow-up calls and correspondence to clients to encourage repeat business/customer referrals.
  • Safety/Risk Management: Ensures a clean and safe work environment to maintain standards per Hills Hotel, brand, local, state and federal regulations. Follows all Hills Hotel procedures for guest/employee incidents.
  • Self/Workload Management: Responsible for effective self/workload management. Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills. Promotes collaboration and positive, professional work environment. Attends all daily, weekly and/or monthly department/hotel meetings to ensure proper communication/planning occurs. Adheres to all Hills Hotel Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Requirements
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: some sales experience required, preferably in a hotel setting. Must be detail oriented, have ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization, and be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bartender
We are looking for someone who is out-going, friendly, and can maintain a professional appearance. Bartending Experience is required. Bartending school a plus but not required. Fluent English is a must.

  • Must be able to maintain facility appearance and cleanliness.
  • Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs
  • Must have time management skills and multi-tasking skills.

Waiter/Waitress
Looking for someone who is out-going, friendly, and can maintain a professional appearance. Must be able to adapt to flexible hours, have time management skills, and work closely and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and all other departments. Fluent English is a must.

Part-time Position


Front desk

  • Coordinates front office activities to assure that guest service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain and organize work area.
  • Respond to all guest requests and follow through to assure satisfactory outcome and compliance.
  • Offers Guest assistance when needed whenever possible.
  • Processes guest reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.

Night Audit
Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue. Transmit credit card batches. Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents.
Perform all Guest Service Representative functions as required; may assist in booking room reservations; may assist in answering hotel phone calls and notifying guests of message. May assist with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
  • Hotel experience preffered.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs and carry up to 10 lbs
  • Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Must be proficient in the use of common Windows-based computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc.
  • Must display very good organization and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
